San Roque is a small town located in the province of Cadiz in Andalucia. It is within a short proximity to Gibraltar.
The nearby towns of Sotogrande and Torreguadiaro supply excellent beaches with the latter being Blue Flagged – Europe's estimable beach award. Sotogrande also offers a couple of beach clubs that offers water sports such as waterskiing, jet-skiing, as well as swimming pools with children's areas.
There are quite a few golf courses nearby including the San Roque Golf & Country Club which offers two challenging courses of its own. Originally designed in 1990 and later redesigned by the golfing legend Seve Ballesteros. It also offers tuition for the less experienced and equipment for hire.
