While it is not along the coastline itself, the city of Murcia is relatively close to several popular beaches so tourists don't have to choose between visiting this fine city and the region's stunning beaches.
Popular sports activities in Murcia include golfing, diving, sailing, windsurfing, walking and tennis. Mar Menor is a lagoon with a coastal length of 70km separated from the Mediterranean Sea by La Manga. Mar Menor has ideal conditions for the holiday wishing to have a relaxing quiet holiday.
