On display is also a 3600 year old gold mask of Agamemnon. You can also see the world’s oldest computer here! Visit the Museum of Cycladic Art to see some art that dates back to pre-historic times and seems almost extra-terrestrial! There is also a Jewish Museum here, detailing the culture, clothes and synagogues of the Jewish community that was wiped out during the Holocaust.

If all this makes you pine for the present, head to Syntagma Square, bustling with people and activity, where you can enjoy some shopping, occasional live music and use wi-fi to plan the next move of your itinerary. You must head to Lykavittos Hill to take in a view of the whole of Athens. It looks awesome at night. If you do not want to walk to the top, there is a cable car that is quite convenient. Bring along your lunch or dinner for a truly spectacular and romantic meal!

There are some lovely beaches here and if you want to take a break from all the sightseeing, the beach is the place to head to. If hiking is what you enjoy, the Athens Regional Park Trail is a great place which provides ample fun for all skill levels.
