Public buses to the local towns and weekly markets in Santa Pola, Guardamar, San Fulgencio, Rojales, Almoradi, Delores, Alicante and Torrevieja operate all year, with a very frequent beach service from June to October. There are taxis, car hire and airport services on the urbanisation, and world famous golf courses can be found within 15 miles of La Marina.
The house is very comfortably furnished for 4 people. It is a real home from home. All facilities provided: microwave, fridge-freezer, washing machine, cable TV with English, Spanish, German language channels (among others), heaters, fans.
The rear terrace has lovely views - catching the sun all day. There is room to park one car in the drive.
LA MARINA is an urbanisation 20-25 minutes drive from Alicante Airport. The urbanisation is fully serviced by regular buses, supermarkets, banks, clinics, doctors, bars and restaurants (many cuisines on offer from traditional Spanish fare through English, Italian, Dutch, German and Chinese!). There are three public swimming pools, several childrens parks and a bowling green.
The nearest public beach (which has received a Blue Flag award) is approximately 4 kilometres away and takes about 5 minutes to drive to. There is also a regular bus service to the beach.
The lively towns of Torrevieja and Guardamar del Segura are short distances and the ancient university city of Elche is 20 minutes drive. Alicante city can be reached in less than 30 minutes.
