Description

Built to the highest standard, Casa do Olival is an elegant house set in the rural surroundings of the Lima Valley, in the North of Portugal.

The walls of a former agricultural property have been retained to make an imposing house with a divided staircase going up to a first floor balcony overlooking the entrance hall.

The garden, created from a former olive grove, offers views over the vineyards in the river valley and towards the high lands of Serra d'Arga.

The house is furnished to very high standards to give comfort and elegance. It has central heating which is available at an extra charge.

All the bedrooms have television sets.

Upper floor:

Two bedrooms with double beds and en suite shower rooms.

Two twin bedrooms with en suite shower rooms.

Lower floor:

Large open plan area which has three doors leading outside to a covered patio and which contains:

Sitting area. Cards alcove.

Separated by a wrought iron screen is a dining area.

Fully fitted kitchen and a bathroom.

A covered patio with a built-in barbecue for alfresco dining overlooks the swimming pool.

There is a mini-market and a restaurant 1 km. from the house and the market town of Ponte de Lima is 8 kms.

The size of the swimming pool is 10 metres by 5 metres and the depth is from 1 metre to 2 metres.

Across the lane, there is another private house - Quinta de Nabais - which belongs to the same owner and may sleep up to 11 persons.
