Set within the lovely Paraiso de la Bahia development, the apartment is a large 3-bed duplex with Lounge/ Dining Room, Kitchen, 2 Bedrooms (Twin Beds), Bathroom and South facing terrace (with full length canopies) on the lower floor. On the Upper floor is the large Master Bedroom (Double bed) with on-suite and 2 terraces. The lounge has an HD ready TV with satellite coverage for UK TV, DVD and CD/Radio. The kitchen is well equipped, including a washing machine, dishwasher and microwave etc. The three terraces allow access to the sun all day and into the evening.
Surrounded by mature and attractive gardens, the partly residential development is very quiet and secure; there are 2 large pools, 2 smaller paddling pools and children’s play area. The beach is only 400m away and has an excellent Chiringuito (all day fish restaurant/bar). You can walk along the beach to the local town of Sabinillas. There is a petrol station on the main road (5 mins walk), which has a small shop selling bread, drinks and some frozen goods etc. Five minutes in the other direction there is a park with children’s play area and small bar. Ideally situated, this area offers the highest temperatures on the Spanish coast throughout the year. By car Malaga airport is about an hour away, Gibraltar 30 mins, Seville 90 mins and Jerez 75 mins.
Sabinillas is the nearest local town – 2 mins in the car or can be walked. Next along the coast to the West is the port of Duquesa (5 mins by car); this is more cosmopolitan with an attractive marina and numerous restaurants and bars etc. Heading east is the town of Estepona which is 10mins by car.
There are numerous golf courses within a short drive from the apartment, only 1km away is the 5 star golf resort of Finca Cortesin including Jack Nicklaus academy – this is where the Volvo World Match play competition is played. The world famous courses of Valderrama and Sotogrande are approximately 20 mins by car.
The area is absolutely packed with things to do. To the west is Gibraltar along with the ports of Algeciras and Tarifa where you can catch a ferry to Morocco. A day trip to Tangier is an experience not to be missed! In the other direction, east towards Malaga, are the Costa Del Sol resorts of Torremolinos and Fuengirola. Along this coast you will find safari parks, marinas, aqua parks, Go-Karts and theme parks along with the attractions of Marbella and the rich man’s haven of Puerto Banus. Inland are the traditional white washed mountain villages and the ancient town of Rhonda.
