Location
Playa Flamenca is a well established urbanisation just a few miles south of Torrevieja on the N332 road. This property is just a short drive away from several excellent blue flag beaches including Playa Flamenca, La Zenia, and Cabo Roig. There are shops, bars, restaurants and tennis courts just a few minutes walk away. A street market is in the area on Saturday mornings. Also within a short drive there is an excellent shopping precinct, which includes a large Mercadona supermarket, hairdressers, newsagents, cafe/bar and other shops. There are three good 18 hole golf courses within just a few miles; Villamartin, Las Ramblas and Real Campoamor, all of which come highly rated.
The town of Torrevieja itself is just 10 minutes drive, bus, or taxi away, all of which are easily available. The town has an array of shops, bars, restaurants, clubs, etc. plus lovely seaside promenades, several beaches, an aqua park, street markets and a marina. The nearest airports are Alicante(to the north) & Murcia(south), which are approximately 40 and 30 minutes respectively, drive away. Terra Mitica theme park is about 80 min drive north of Playa Flamenca and the A37 Autopista is on your doorstep.
A car is recommended to fully enjoy this part of the Costa Blanca and the surrounding area, many car rental firms operate from both of the local airports at reasonable rates.
