The house is situated next to the Viaur River one of the cleanest and most beautiful rivers in France. The setting is tranquil with the nearest habitation over ¼ mile away. There is abundant wild life and bird life and the area is ideal for those that love the outdoors.
The house is on the border between the Lot and the Aveyron and is within easy reach of many medieval towns villages and bastides. It is 1 km from the nearest village and bar /restaurant and 8 kms from the beautiful village of Najac and its castle ( it is classified as one of the most beautiful villages in France). It is 20 km from the large market town of Villefranche de Rougerie.

The house it self is on 2 levels .
The upper level is of wood construction and has a balcony on 3 sides.
Kitchen: small with sink unit and cooker.
Lounge/dining room: large room with table to seat 8 , double bed settee (sleep an additional 2 people) and 2 arm chairs , fridge and wood burning stove.

1 Single bedroom: with a single bed
(all the bedrooms are small)

Large living area/kitchen: equipped kitchen area with cooker, sink, microwave, fridge and washing machine. Large oak table to seat 8 , dresser and store area

The house is simple but well equipped and there is plenty of space and equipment for two families in summer. The house can sleep 7/9 people
Outside: there is a large fenced area around the house to give it a feeling of security and privacy. There is plenty of room for parking and a large BBQ house at the bottom of the garden. Through the gate, the river and beach area are about 50 meters from the house. The river is fantastic for swimming, boating, canoeing , fishing or just relaxing and watching the wild life.
