Fully air-conditioned throughout, this spacious property offers: 3 Large bedrooms comfortably sleeping up to 7 guests. 1 double room with king size bed, 1 twin bedroom and a family room with king size bed and 2 singles - all with a private balcony. The comfortable lounge overlooks the upstairs terrace area and provides you with satellite TV, CD player and telephone for booking local restaurants, taxis and tours. Fully fitted kitchen with cooking hob, cooker, microwave, large fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. Outside, you can cool down and swim in your own private freshwater swimming pool. BBQ area is fully furnished with dining table and chairs and also loungers. Umbrellas are provided for shade in the heat for you to relax and unwind, the perfect place to enjoy morning coffee, read a book or simply chill-out. Saim and Senay run this family holiday home, and would always be on hand at any time should you need assistance. They will show you around and welcome you on arrival to the Villa and handover the keys. Property suitable for children but they must be kept under adult supervision around the pool.
This property is a non smoking environment fitted with fire alarms although there is plenty of comfortable outside space e.g poolside, terrace and balcony's
Booking, terms and conditions
A £250.00 non-refundable deposit will secure your booking, the balance remaining will be due 8 weeks prior to your holiday. Payment for your holiday can be made over the counter at any Abbey bank or by online transfer. We reserve the right to re-advertise dates if the balance has not been received by the due date.!! We do not take a deposit for breakages but also ask you to treat the property as it's your own and with respect
Flights are not included in the price of our villa.
Weekly rental prices are for the villa per week not per person
We strongly advise you take travel insurance when booking your flights.
Our changeover day is Monday as most flight to and from Dalaman are on this day

Nearby Uzumlu and the Kalkan/Kas area
The climate of Lycia is typical of that of the Mediterranean coast of Anatolia - lush and green in the spring, hot and dry in the summer. The mountains provide a much cooler climate in the summer. The ancient sites of Xanthos, Saklikent gorge, Letoon and Pinara are a short journey away. Also within easy reach are, Kas,Kekova, Demre, Myra, Phaesilis, and Olympos.
Kalkan Just a 15 mins ride away from the villa lays the sophisticated harbour town of Kalkan. One of the most picturesque and charming in Turkey, with cobbled streets and clad white-washed houses winding down to the marina, you can dine overlooking the yachts moored in the crystal clear waters. There is a vast choice of harbour-side and rooftop restaurants, also plenty of snack bars which may be more suitable for young families.There are many bars to choose around if you want to relax and have a few drinks and many boutiques and gift shops selling local crafts if shopping is more your thing! The town has three banks with cash machines, and also a post office where you can change money for the local currency. There are several supermarkets a chemist and general stores for all your needs. Kalkan is perfect for day trips to the beach or romantic evening strolls.

A popular destination with visitors is Demre (Kale) where the famous rock tombs of Myra are to be found as well as the early medieval domed Basilica of St Nicholas.

Kalkan Boat Trip
Chill on a relaxing day trip around the bays and islands of Kalkan, lunch is served onboard. Plenty of swimming and lots of fun.
Saklikent, Tlos & Yakapark
A wonderful way to escape the searing summer heat of the coast, this tour takes you into the Taurus mountain range with its fresh springs cascading to the plain below. Travel down the river on a giant inflatable rubber ring, followed by a mud bath.
Scuba Diving & Try Dives
Kalkan has many excellent dive companies offering full day trips, 'try dives' and PADI open water courses for those looking to establish themselves as a certified diver.
Horse Riding
Riding on the beautiful 18 km beach of Patara.
Fethiye Market & Kayaköy
Approximately 15 minutes from Fethiye is the Ghost village, Kayakoy. After the inhabitants left the village in 1922 to return to Greek soil, the houses, numbering about 3,500, where left empty and deserted.
Canoeing
An exciting day of sun, fun, nature and canoeing along the beautiful Xantos River. No canoeing experience required to share an exhilarating day in Patara national park as your experienced guides show you one of the most unspoilt places of the area.
Paragliding
Thrill-seekers are sure to find this one of the greatest possible adrenalin rushes. Take off on top of the mountains in Kas enjoy the view of Greek Island Meis, Kas town and beautiful scenery.
Sea Kayaking at Kekova
This is a great way to see the sunken city of Kekova and experience sea kayaking.
Greek Island of Meis (Castellorizo)
Meis Island known as Castellorizo by the Greeks is only 20 minutes away from Kas town. Meis has remained untouched by tourism still protecting its charm and beauty of a small Greek Island. Tours to the Island are available almost everyday from Kas.

Thank you very much for allowing us the pleasure to stay in your lovely villa.
We have had several previous villa holidays via high street travel agents but none of them can match the excellent service that we have received from yourselves and your family.
The location of Villa Sahin is superb for a totally relaxed holiday. It is maintained to a very high standard and was very clean.
Patara beach was lovely. The local shop was very useful for our daily bread and ice creams for the evenings. We also enjoyed the chance to buy fruit and vegetables from the local farmer that stopped nearby the villa on Thursday.
We felt very well looked after by your family and we knew that if we had any problems they were just a phone call away, which was very reassuring. We had a truly amazing Turkish experience and it is highly recommended.

.We were very pleased with the villa which we found as beautiful as your pictures and, with all the facilities as you describe, made for a comfortable and relaxing base.I particularly enjoyede the views and the solitude. The pool was lovely, somehow managing to stay cool despite the hot sun. Siam and his family were very helpful and kept the villa, garden and pool so tidy and clean.
This part of Turkey is our favourite and your villa was nicely situated to visiting the local towns and beaches. We always find the local people so friendly and happy to see us visitors enjoying their country.
I have often said that there are too many places in this world to go and see than to revisit the same place but in your villa's case I would happily make an exception : J Shepherd Weymouth. (July 2008).

Just a quick note to tell you how much we enjoyed the recent holiday at the Villa Sahin.
We found the villa to be extremely comfortable and furnished to a high standard.
The air-conditioning ensured that we slept very well despite outside temperatures in excess of 40 degrees centigrade while the villa’s satellite TV meant that we were able to keep in touch with the first week of the Olympic Games.
Special thanks to both Engin and his Father who both did everything they possibly could to ensure our stay was a memorable one.
i would also like to thank you for negotiating a reduction in daily car hire rate with Adda Tours on our behalf. The car was comfortable, reliable and gave us a great deal of freedom to explore the lovely beaches at Kaputas and Patara as well as the multitude of excellent restaurants in Kalkan.
I would have no hesitation in greatly recommending the villa to others and do hope to return again soon.

What an amazing location. The views from the balcony are just stunning. The website photos do not do the Villa any justice. We enjoyed being away from everything in the rural setting of the fruit growing village yet only a fifteen minute drive to Kalkan with all the shops and excellent restaurants.
Thanks very much to your brother and his son who looked after us very well making sure that everything was perfect for our holiday.
We managed a couple of BBQs with some excellent fish from the fishmongers at Kalkan.
The villa was well situated for seeing the gorge at Salikent and Patara with its amazing beach and 400BC ruins.
We will most certainly be back for a laid back relaxing holiday.

The villa was better even than the excellent photographs on your website. It was extremely well equipped, comfortable and airy and had the most stunning views to the west across the valley towards Patara Beach and Xanthos. It provided us with a really private and peaceful base within the delightfully rural area of Uzumlu. We found the local people extremely welcoming. It's a pity our Turkish didn't extend much beyond "please" and "thank you". Despite the rural setting it was very conveniently placed for the restaurants and attractions of Kalkan. Although we found the restaurants very good, particularly one at a trout farm in the mountains, we spent several of our evenings at the villa, enjoying the sunsets and eating from the barbecue by the pool.
Never having been to Turkey before we are really sold on it now. There's so much to do and see within easy reach of the villa that we couldn't take it all in in a week. We hope to return very soon. Please thank your brother, his wife and your nephew for being so helpful and attentive during our stay.

Villa Sahin fully met our expectations and we had a wonderfully relaxing 4 weeks in lovely surroundings. The villa was well equipped and comfortable and Saim, Senay and their son Engin looked after us brilliantly even inviting us to a family wedding which was a great experience. They were always on hand if needed but unobtrusive. Uzumlu is a lovely traditional village, well placed for visits to Kalkan, Kas, Patara and the various archaeological sites but off the tourist track.
The icing on the cake for me was being able to go horse riding on Patara beach which was a fabulous experience.
We had a thoroughoughly enjoyable time and hope to return
