Maison de Pecheur is a traditional fisherman's cottage set in the quaint and narrow streets of the old part of Port en Bessin. The harbour and sea front are just 50m and the port is an active and fascinating place to watch the large fishing boats coming and going. The area is steeped in history, centrally located amongst the D-day beaches, with a range of holiday pursuits available and the cathedral city of Bayeux close by. There are a wide range of restaurants and cafes in the village, the fish market is open daily with freshly caught sea food of all types, and a selection of shops, supermarkets, a bank, post office and a fantastic Sunday harbourside market all within a short stroll. The Omaha Beach golf course, one of Normandy's finest, is on the edge of the village. There are cliff walks either side of the village, and the local beach has many rock pools to fascinate children. Miles of safe sandy beaches are a just a few minutes drive away in both directions.

Our high rate applies to the whole property (which sleeps 8+). Our low rate does not include use of the family room (the rest of property sleeps 4-6), but with the option to use the family room at £140pw extra. Both rates include cleaning costs.
