Lanzarote is an island full of surprises, with something for everyone. It has "all-year-round" appeal thanks to its sub-tropical climate, warm and breezy in the summer and rarely dropping below 70 degs. in the daytime during the winter. It's a photographer's paradise with unspoiled views - no high-rise buildings allowed here, just traditional white-washed houses set in a volcanic landscape amidst palm trees, vineyards, and lovely beaches.
Life is as lively or relaxed as you make it.
Our house with its own walled gardens is on a secure gated complex with no steps, perfectly situated for all your needs. The well fitted kitchen with granite worktops is equipped with everything you will need including a teapot. The living room has an Italian leather sofa, a TV, a good stock of DVDs if you want an evening in, and plenty of holiday reading. The second sofa makes up into a comfortable double bed for 5th and 6th guests. There's even a cloakroom with toilet on the ground floor.
Upstairs are 2 good sized bedrooms with safe, hairdryer, and ceiling fans for warmer nights, and the bathroom.
The gardens are a joy. See the photograph of colourful bougainvillea and hibiscus flowers. The back garden is fully enclosed, so secure for young children. There are sunbeds, sunloungers, chairs, tables, etc. and of course a barbecue.
A "Welcome Grocery Pack" awaits your arrival, with a bottle of wine, tea, coffee, milk, water, bread, etc.
The house in cleaned thoroughly once a week, and the linen and towels changed. We even include the use of beach/pool towels; this should help with your luggage allowance!
Just outside the complex is a modern supermarket with pavement coffee-shop and bakery. Mmmm ... freshly baked rolls for breakfast on the terrace!!
Everything is within easy reach, so there's no need to hire a car, although we do recommend this in order to explore this fascinating island further.
In short, a perfect house in a perfect position, for a perfect holiday.
