Finca El Abuelo is the perfect place for couples to escape, relax & unwind without compromising on comfort. Bed & Breakfast accomodation (or optional self catering May-Sept) situated in the mountains of Andalucia close to Estacion de Cortes with the Sierra de Grazalema & Alcornocales Parque Natural.
Renovated to a very high standard in a relaxing rustic style we have 2 guestrooms one four poster the other a lovely sleigh bed with satalite/digital tv, wifi, tea/coffee making facilities & plenty of wardrobe & drawer space.
The en-suites have hand painted basins, walk in showers, wc's, heated towel rails, modern fixtures & include shampoo etc. The rooms are cleaned daily. Towels for the pool are also provided.
Breakfast on the upstairs terrace in the Summer or in the country kitchen in the Winter also a lounge with a cosy log fire.
The natural salt water pool has plenty of terraced areas with sunloungers, tables, chairs, pergolas providing shady areas & of course panoramic views. Also a shower/toilet.
For the self catering option on the same level as the pool we have a well equiped undercover 'outdoor' kitchen area available from May to September. Facilities include dishwasher, gas hob, bbq, fridge/freezer, toaster, electric fry pan, kettle, coffee machine etc.
Our finca has 1 acre of terraces with lots of fruit trees including pomegranate, apricot, almond, fig, oranges & lemons. When possible we have home grown salads & herbs.
Less than an hour from the coast, a little longer to Gibraltar & Estepona or one & a half hours to Puerto Banus, San Pedro or Marbella.
Malaga airport is 2 hours drive, Gibraltar or Jerez the closest at an hour or Seville 2 hours.
