Close to the historic town of Gouarec it is within 5 minutes walk to local shops, chemist, banks, post office, bars and restaurants. The Nantes -Brest canal is 2 minutes walk away giving leisurely walking and cycling along the towpath. The cottage is surrounded by its own large garden suitable for sunbathing and dining outside as it has terraces on two sides. The famous Lac de Guerledan, the largest man-made lake in Brittany, is 5 minutes away by car where you can enjoy swimming, boating, fishing and other water sports. Also close by is the Abbaye de Bon Repos. The towns of Pontivy and Quintin are close by and both have good a street market and a chateau.
