Kermartin Cottage is a modern house all on one level and suitable for the less able. Close to the historic town of Gouarec it is within 5 minutes walk of local shops, chemist, banks, post office, bars and restaurants. The Nantes -Brest canal is 2 minutes walk away giving leisurely walking and cycling along the towpath. The cottage is surrounded by its own, extensive gardens of more than an acre suitable for sunbathing and dining outside. It has terraces to south and west sides. The famous Lac de Guerledan, the largest man-made lake in Brittany, is only 5 minutes away by car where you can enjoy swimming, boating, fishing and other water sports and with bars and restaurants on its shores. It has many safe, sandy beaches. Also close by is the Abbaye de Bon Repos. The towns of Pontivy and Quintin are close by and both have good a street market and a chateau.
