Beautiful new seaside apartment with sea view and pool, only 30m from the fantastic beach in the small unspoilt fishing village of Salema. This modern apartment has been tastefully decorated and furnished and is well equipped. There is a spacious balcony at the front with sea views, accessed from the living area and master bedroom. In addition, a secluded courtyard terrace at the rear has access from the kitchen, dining area and bedroom 2. There is a shared swimming pool with surrounding terrace area. Secure private underground car parking. The long sandy Salema beach is patrolled by a lifeguard - ideal for families, and there is a selection of lovely restaurants overlooking the beach. Salema village retains much of its authentic character, with traditional buildings lining steep narrow streets. Parque da Floresta Golf and Spa Resort is about 5 mins drive away, with other courses within easy driving distance. There are also plenty of other good beaches close by.

Bedroom 1 with large double bed, fitted wardrobes and access to the balcony.
Bedroom 2 with 2 singles (can be joined together), fitted wardrobes and access to the courtyard terrace.
Bathroom with bath/shower over, sink, bidet and WC.

Kitchen: Direct access to the courtyard terrace.
Oven, hob, fridge, freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, kettle and toaster etc.
Living Rooms: Large through lounge/dining room, with seaviews and access to the balcony at the front and access to the courtyard terrace from the dining area. Sofa and lounge chairs and TV. iPod player & Radio. Dining table with 6 chairs.
Iron and ironing board. Clothes dryer. Balcony has a table and 4 chairs. Courtyard terrace has a large wooden dining table and 4 chairs. Hair dryer and hair straightener.
Outside
Balcony at front with sea view, ideal for lounging and watching the world go by, with access from the living area and master bedroom. Table and 4 chairs.
Courtyard terrace is secluded and ideal for outside eating, with direct access from the kitchen, and also from bedroom 2 and the dining area. Large wooden table and 4 chairs provided
Small shared swimming pool set in sun terrace area at the rear of the apartments.
Private underground parking garage. Very useful in peak season when parking can be difficult in Salema, and it means that your car is always cool.
Coast/Beach
Step out of the apartment and within about 50 paces you will be on the golden sands of Salema beach, with its colourful traditional fishing boats and charming seafront restaurants.
Salema is within a protected coastal conservation area, and the beach is a wide gently sloping sandy bay, with a lifeguard
There are plenty of other beautiful beaches close to Salema, either small secluded coves or long streches of white sand
The west coast of Portugal has some of the best surfing in Europe.
Golf
Parque da Floresta Golf and Spa Resort is about a 5 minute drive away, with an 18-hole championship course (home to David Seaman Safe Hands Charity Classic), tennis, archery, restaurants and fantastic day spa.
Boavista Golf Resort only a 15 min drive towards Lagos - also a championship course, which hosted the Sir Henry Cooper Mike Reid Charity Golf Classic.
Palmares Golf - also close to Lagos can easliy be reached within 15 minutes of Salema. A well established course laid out on a hillside commanding magnificent views of the bay of Lagos and the distant Monchique hills.
Travel
The nearest airport is Faro airport, a 1 hour drive (about 100km).
Lagos is about 20 minutes drive, with its old town, restaurants, bars and marina.
Cape St. Vincent (most westerly point in Europe) is about a 20 minute drive.
Car hire is recommended in order to explore the other beaches and towns in the area, but we can also organise an airport pick up and drop off.
There is an hourly bus service to Lagos.
Further details
Everything that you could need for a relaxing holiday is within walking distance of the apartment.
Salema has a good range of restaurants serving excellent fresh fish and traditional Portuguese dishes, many with seafront dining areas. There are also a couple of quiet bars and 2 cafes, good for a lazy breakfast.
There are a selection of shops in the village, including 2 small supermarkets, plus a cash withdrawal machine, a travel agent and internet 'cafe'
There is a larger supermarket at Budens, about 3km away.
