This authentic restored village house in Roccacasale sleeps up to 5 people with one double bedroom (room for a further single bed). A single room adjoining bathroom and a single bedroom upstairs adjoining double bedroom. The house is situated in the Majella National Park in Abruzzo and the village boasts its own medieval castle and is surrounded by hills ideal for walking. It is in a sunny position midway up the village and overlooks the Peligna Valley from the front door terrace and upstairs balconies.It is double glazed and centrally heated for the skiing months.
The area is popular for skiing,walking,beaches,nature and locally grown natural vegetables.Other nationalities are catching on to this yet untapped area. Rome is only 2 hours away by car or bus. Sulmona "The City of Art" is only 5 minutes drive as is Pratola Peligna a local town with many quaint shops and local markets. Pickup is available from Pescara Airport which is 35 minutes drive away. Ryan Air flys from Stansted daily to Pescara. Ski Guiding is available from December to April.
