This beautiful apartment is situated on the first floor, of an 18th. century palace within the ancient town walls of Jerez, just a stones-throw from the cathedral. The flamenco museum is on the same street and close by are a multitude of wonderful tapas bars and delightful plazas to explore.
One enters the building through a classical colonnaded courtyard and reach the apartment via a flight of marble stairs.
The entrance hall with it's large wardrobe is open plan, with the corridor leading to the kitchen, and a door to the main bathroom with all fixtures and fittings designed by Philppe Starck for Duravit; WC, large double bath, sink and heated towel rail.
The galley kitchen is fully equipped with washing machine/dryer, ceramic hob, electric oven, dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator/freezer, toaster, china, glasses and cutlery for eight people. There are plenty of saucepans, cooking gear and all the rest that make a house a home.
The open plan dining space also has seating for 6, a small library, and a day bed. The large high ceiling living space has 2 large leather sofas and puff to relax, a stylish flat screen TV with DVD player and DVD's, I-pod docking station, and plenty of information about the area.
The downstairs bedroom through tall opaque glass doors, has a large wardrobe and a double bed. We also have a work desk and printer with Wifi access available 24hrs. The whole apartment is decorated with original contemporary artwork
The upstairs bedroom has a king size double bed which can be converted into two singles.
The en suite-bathroom is fitted with sink, Hydro shower column , WC and a heated towel rail. The views to the cathedral are especially magical at night when the building is lit.
Due to the south-West facing aspect of the building, the light flooding the apartment is stunning, with the sunsets giving a different colour display each evening.
The apartment has A/C supplying hot or cold air.
Included is the private parking space in the underground garage next door.

"We really enjoyed staying in the flat - especially the light - the design makes the most of the space very effectively and beautifully. I have a comparison as friends stayed in a similar space in a palacio in Seville and the conversion did not work as well - the mezzanine and stairs appeared heavy - the space below seemed restricted whereas your mezzanine seems to float and the dining space below works really well - especially with the light source from above - very impressive design. the above prices are based on one couple staying, there is a Euros 100 supplement for 2 couples sharing. Horse fair and festivals a surcharge applies.
Fair use of air-conditioning/heating is included, but metered. The meter is read on arrival and departure.
Price for less than one week on request.
We also let our apartment for longer stays up to max. 3 months. A monthly rate will apply, exclusive of heating/aircon.
15% given for remaining week in March.
