Our sympathetically modernized 200 year old farmhouse has been furnished and equipped to a high standard. With the adjoining owners' cottage and barn is set around a courtyard looking out over mature gardens. These include fruit trees, banana palms, vines and flowering bushes, and the large suntrap swimming pool terrace. Yet we are only 40 minutes from Bergerac town and Airport and 15 minutes from the nearest motorway exit.
Swim in the 12m x 6m pool, relax on a padded sunbed or in the shade; play table tennis in the barn, take local woodland or riverside walks or explore the area with excursions to suit all ages. Visit the region's many chateaux, picturesque bastide villages, children’s entertainment centres or colourful markets and prehistoric caves. Medieval Perigueux, our county town 40 minutes away, combines modern shopping and period architecture For wine lovers, the vineyards of Bergerac and Bordeaux (taste and buy!), or the distilleries of Cognac are not to be missed.
