Description

The Chaika Beach Apartment is situated just 20 metres from the sandy beach, 13 km from the centre of Varna and less than 20 minutes from Varna airport. and is adjacent to Kabakum and Riviera resorts. A unique chair-lift up the hillside connects Chaika Beach with the affluent residential area of Alen Mak.

Chaika Beach has a charming Bulgarian atmosphere, unlike larger resort developments. You will find intimate restaurants, beach café-bars, sun beds and parasols for hire, on-beach showers, lifeguards, and basic shopping facilities.

The apartment is on floor 2 of the 5 floor building and has a southerly aspect with oblique views of the beach and sea. It is protected by an intercom entry system. It is a generous 70m2 in size, and has an open-plan lounge-diner with kitchen area, a double/twin bedroom, and shower room/WC. An elevator (lift) serves all floors of the building.

The English/Finnish owners have designed and fitted out the apartment in a stylish and practical manner. In order to preserve its clean, hygienic condition we have decided to adopt a non-smoking, no-pets policy. An English-speaking company in Varna service the apartment with care including changing bed-linen on a weekly basis and provide airport pick-up and transfer.

The air-conditioned lounge area has two comfortable sofas (which can become full-length beds simply by removing the cushions), and a TV set and cabinet. The dining area seats four. All the necessary crockery, cutlery, cookware, tableware, iron, ironing board, drying rack and useful accessories are provided.

The bed in the bedroom is designed for use as a double bed or as two separated singles, as you prefer. There is a wardrobe, another in the corridor outside, and a chest of six drawers with a mirror over. There is a separate air conditioning unit in this room. Additional clothes hooks are provided throughout the apartment.

The fully-tiled bathroom has a WC, wash-hand basin, and electric shower and enclosure, plus all those little fittings which make life more comfortable.

The south-facing balcony (with sea views of course) is accessible from the lounge and the bedroom, and is provided with two chairs to relax in, a matching table, and clothes-drying facilities.

Chaika beach has a Bulgarian flavour: it is an interesting mix of new and old, large and small, plain and quirky; it is a place where the bars sell great Bulgarian beer, where if you like your coffee long and with milk you have to say so, where you may not be able to read the menus (fortunately many are illustrated and staff are very helpful), and where there are lots of charming "rough edges" like patches of grass growing in the sand...
