Description

Vista de Pajaro is situated in the beautiful private garden community of Mijas la Nueva, five minutes drive from Mijas Village. Mijas is one of the prettiest of the white Andalucian villages, situated in the foothills of the Sierras.


The charming south facing townhouse, one of three, has a spacious well furnished lounge with a dining area and separate fully fitted kitchen. The double doors from the dining area lead out to the large south facing terrace, which catches the sun all day long. There is a built in barbecue on the terrace A covered area and a roll out awning are there for those who might like some shade. The bourganvillea filled terrace with its wonderful views is an ideal place to relax , wine and dine. Evening drinks and dining under the stars in this setting is truly a magical experience.

On the first floor the pretty double bedroom, with en-suite, has double doors on to a balcony which offers stunning views of the mountains, countryside and sea. It is furnished with table and chairs, ideal for that early morning coffee or late night drink or simply a place to get away on your own for awhile.

The pretty twin room has views too.
There is a full bathroom with bidet and views towards the mountains.

There are two lovely communal pools, one conveniently only 2 minutes walk from the house yet far enough away to offer no disturbance.

The Carob Bar, 5 minutes walk and near to the largest pool and tennis court, serves family meals, indoors and outside on the terrace. During the season there are barbeques and special evenings with music.

Mijas is situated on the edge of the mountains surrounded by pine trees overlooking the Mediterranean sea, about five miles from the coastal town of Fuengirola, 428 metres above sea level and about halfway between Marbella and Malaga.

Mijas has retained some of its local traditions, with local donkey taxis and horse-drawn carriages that will transport you around the village. You will be spoilt for choice with the local cuisine in the area, there are superb restaurants offereing everything from typical Andalucian Tapas to Italien, Mexican, Greek, Thai etc....
