Local Area Details: Situated in the lomas (lowhills) of Orihuela Costa not far from Torrevieja, the apartment is the perfect location for those who want to experience all that Spain has to offer but yet retire to a peaceful hideaway 10 minutes later.
The style of the apartment block is unique in this area of Spain. Situated at a dead end, residents have the benefit of no through traffic by way of cars and pedestrians and no other buildings blocking the views.
Its peaceful, relaxing atmosphere is best experienced in the evening where one can sit outside and enjoy a glass of wine or read a book with only the stars for company.
The Costa Blanca has two International airports at Alicanté (1 hour drive) and Murcia (20 min drive) and is notorious for its beautiful sandy beaches (mostly European Blue Flag).
The nearby Villamartin and Los Dolces Plazas have plenty of shops, restaurants and bars to suit all tastes with live nightly entertainment during the high season making it attractive to families, couples and singles alike.
A 15 minute drive north on the N332 brings you to Torrevieja, which has everything you would expect from a thriving Spanish holiday resort. The lengthy promenade boasts a string of market stalls during the high season, as well as a marina, aquapark and go-karting feature.
The exceptional climate allows outdoor activities all year round such as golf, bowls and tennis along with most water sports.
The wonderful winter climate with lowest average temperature of 15c, together with 320 days of sunshine each year, combined with the famous mediterranean diet of fresh meat, fish, vegetables, fruit and wine go towards making it one of the healthiest places in Europe.

Within walking distance of the apartment block is a large Mercadona supermarket and several pubs. 5-10 minutes drive brings you to several nearby Plazas at Villamartin and Los Dolces where there are plenty of shops, restaurants and bars.
There are three golf courses surrounding the apartment the closest of which is Villamartin (18 Holes: €45 approx per day). The others, Las Ramblas and Campoamor are both within a 10 minute drive.
Several beaches (La Zenia, Playa Flamenca and Campoamor) are all within 10 minutes drive of the apartment, where there are sports and play areas as well as beach bars serving food and drink most of the year.
