Art Studio is located just a five minute level walk from Holetown's large shopping complex, which includes a well stocked supermarket, pharmacy,doctor, banks, specialist boutiques, and a parade of brightly painted chattel houses, selling locally crafted souvenirs.
The area is well served with restaurants to suit all palates and purses.
The Internationally acclaimed Cliff Restaurant and Lone Star Restaurant are a 5 minutes drive.
Barbados is so much more than a beach location.
The first British settlers arrived in 1627 just 100 yards or so from where Art Studio now stands.
The first Church, the beautiful St. James Parish Church, also very close by,was built in 1628.
Nelson's Column, by the Parliament Buildings in Bridgetown, predates that in Trafalgar Square, London.
A number of Plantation Houses are open to the public, and blue plaqued Heritage Sites can be found throughout the Island.
Barbados has earned the reputation of being the finest in the Caribbean for golf, with Championship standard courses at Royal Westmoreland, Sandy Lane both around a 5 minutes drive and The Royal Barbados Golf Club, some thirty minutes.
Cricket is not just a sport here, it is a passion, with the most famous of all West Indian Cricket Grounds, Kensington Oval, a ten minutes drive away.
International Polo is regularly played at Holders Hill, a 5 minutes drive.
There are superb tennis facilities at the John & David Lloyd
Tennis Academy, Sugar Hill, a 5 minutes drive
The World surf sailing championships are frequently held at Silver Sands, a 30 minutes drive.
Public Transport is very reliable and inexpensive, providing a safe link to many parts of the Island.
For visiting the more remote parts of the Island, the use of our Land Rover Discovery may be the answer.

The above is the weekly cost for the apartment, including daily maid service and twice weekly linen changes.
Additional days may be added to your stay, simply divide by seven.
We will try to be totally flexible about change over days to accomodate you, and will not ask you to vacate the apartment until you are ready to leave on your final day.
