The Walt Disney World complex is about 8 miles away, readily accessible by using the “Osceola Parkway” toll road. The Seaworld theme park is about 12 miles away and Universal Studios about 17 miles.
About 2 miles up the road, there is US highway 192 running through the west Kissimmee area with a large choice of restaurants of all grades and styles. The area also offers a myriad of attractions such as the "Arabian Nights" and "Medieval Times" dinner shows, fun mini golf, the "Old Town" permanent fun fair, go karts etc.
A petting farm is located about one mile down Poinciana Boulevard, and there are horse riding stables a little further south.
Shopping at Wal-Mart and Super Target, along with many smaller shops, is within easy reach. The Buena Vista Mall and the Orlando Premium Outlets are also easily accessible.
There are many golf courses within easy reach, including Kissimmee Golf Club. The famous Champions Gate, home of the David Leadbetter academy, is less than ten miles away.
