It is situated in the heart of Stow, only a minutes walk from the market square with restaurants, pubs, delicatessens and shops. It is centrally located within the Cotswolds for visiting local villages and towns.
The cottage itself dates from c1650 and has been lovingly refurbished in a traditional country-cottage style, The front door leads straight into the welcoming sitting room where an original flagstone floor, inglenook fireplace and pretty bay window help to create a charming and relaxing atmosphere. A stable door leads into a well equipped, farmhouse-style kitchen and breakfast room. Leading from the kitchen there is a secluded couryard garden, perfect for lunch or enjoying a drink on a sunny day.
From the sitting room, an enclosed Cotswold stone winding staircase leads up to the first floor where there is a bathroom and a very pretty twin bedroom, with two traditional iron beds and antique pine furniture.
The second floor has a very romantic double bedroom with antique pine furniture and skylight, giving rooftop views across the old town and church.
