Description

This beautiful 17th Century, grade II listed Inn is situated in the middle of the historic Sussex Downland village of Wilmington, with its 12th Century church, Priory and 1600 year old Yew tree. It keeps company with the figure of the 'Long Man of Wilmington' cut into the chalk landscape and guarding the stunning scenery of the Seven Sisters Country Park.

The spacious property sleeps 5 and consists of the main wing of the Inn, off a courtyard adjoining the artist owners' studio and office, with its own private off-road parking for 2 cars. The owners' apartment is totally separate behind its own courtyard in the beautiful, shared one acre garden, with furniture, swings, boules and summerhouse. All this is just a step away from the beauty of the encircling Downland in an 'Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty' soon to be England's next National Park.

The seaside at Eastbourne is 15mins away and Brighton 30 mins.
