There are miles of coastal and country walks, with attractions such as Corfe Castle within view of the Cottage and Studland Bay, Poole Harbour and Brownsea Island within easy reach. Swanage and Weymouth offer more traditional seaside activities.
The hamlet of Kingston boasts a large parish church, pub/restaurant, telephone and post box. There is a frequent bus service to Corfe Castle and Swanage. Small shops and a choice of restaurants can be found in Corfe Castle (3 miles), post office/grocery store in Langton Matravers (2 miles).
