Portes du Soleil ski area is the largest internationally linked ski area in the world. Amongst the resorts are the resorts of Morzine & Avoriaz as well as 11 other resorts in France and Switzerland, offering 650kms of pistes, 237 ski slopes, 212 ski lifts and dedicated snowboard parks lifts and 650km of pistes.
Morzine and Le Gets are perhaps the most well known towns in the area and are unlike the many aesthetically challenged, purpose built French ski resorts, they are traditional alpine market towns which have retained their historical charm and are now well served with restaurants, bars and shopping facilities.
Just one hours drive from Geneva airport this is the largest and most accessible ski area from the UK.
