Built in 1794 as the mill owners house, it is furnished in comfortable, informal country style, with oak beams and open hearths and log fires throughout. It is equipped to a very comfortable homely standard with full gas central heating and fitted carpets in all bedrooms. Outside with outstanding views south to the Howgill Mountains, as well as barbeque areas there are extensive patios and terraces bordering the stream. The property has 3 double bedrooms,4 twin bedrooms one with additional bunk beds,1 double sofa bed and 1 double futon in the upstairs lounge and 1 double sofa bed in the ground floor living room. The Millhouse makes an ideal base for family reunions and gatherings of groups of friends. Summer or winter the scenery is stunning.
