Notes:
The kitchen is a good size, fully fitted and has lots of cupboard space. Leading on from the kitchen is the ground floor porch terrace with views of the garden. Due to its proximately to the kitchen and the lovely view it has become the most popular place at the villa to dine. The dining room contains a more formal dining option. There is a table and seating for 6. It is furnished with a large sideboard with mirror, and two dresser units. Opposite the dining room is the living area which contains more comfortable seating. Two sofas convert into sofa beds giving accommodation for up to 6 people. A solid marble spiral staircase leads you to the upstairs sleeping area. Here you will find 2 double bedrooms, identically furnished with 2 single beds, double wardrobes, chest of drawers and a dressing table. The villa also benefits from a garden which has rose bushes, and fruit and palm trees. There is an outdoor shower and room for off road parking
| Dikili is situated at the north of Izmir, and opposite the Greek Island of Lebos/Mitilini. This charming county which is 120 km. away from Izmir, attracts Turkish tourists with its lovely beaches and clear water. The excavations revealed that the history of Dikili goes back to 4000-5000 B.C.
The drive into Dikili from offers some spectacular scenery, mountains, olive groves, vineyards and cotton fields. See the people working the land; horses and carts are still widely in use. Alternatively, how about the sight of a tractor with about 20 workers hanging on for dear life. This is where you start to get a feel for real Turkish life. Dikili is truly unspoilt, and the locals amongst the most friendly in the world. Typical experiences of previous guests include being bought gifts of fresh grapes, olives and cheese and even invited to share a meal.
The main evening activity is enjoying a fish supper at the harbour and watching the stunning sunset.
