Mi Cueva is the perfect spot for that holiday which is a little bit different. Very well appointed, with 2 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms, the main cavern/room is 35 feet long, incorporating the lounge / kitchen. Fully equipped with satellite TV, cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave, music box, washing machine, it has all you need for a super comfortable holiday. One bedroom has a double bed & ensuite shower room, the other has 2 single beds. The lounge has a very comfortable 3 seater sofa/bed, plus 2 seater settee, plus rocking chair. The kitchen offers an american style breakfast bar with stools.
You may not have stayed in a cave before, & if so, you may not realise how comfortable it is. The insulation of the mountain makes you to from the weather outside. It effectively provides air-conditioning in the summer, beautifully cool & comfortable, whereas in the winter it's like central heating.
Outside is a huge terrace, with wonderful views, I promise you'll spend hours just looking. It also has a covered porch, just in case the wind blows (be clear that rain here is a very infrequent event in the summer, this year there was none between May & late September).
We have a swimming pool, with a large sunbathing area, (shared, but only with the owners).
We are 8 minutes from the coast for the resort town of San Juan de Los Terreros with it's super beaches (quoted in a BBC video as the best in Spain), or Villaricos in the other direction. Mojacar, Vera, Garrucha are close, & we now have 3 golf courses close, with several others being planned.
We offer the best of both worlds:- in the cave it is wonderfully peaceful, or a short drive away are a variety of options, beaches, mountains, busy (ish) resorts & wonderful scenery. There are many restaurants / bars within a very short drive, at prices which will make you weep at UK charges. (For example, in our local village of Los Lobos, a beer plus 2 large wines costs 2 euros).
