Tropical Pool and gardens Master Bedroom Private Roof top solarium Front terrace Description The apartment is situated in the lower end of Calahonda, just 25 minutes from Malaga airport, and is in an ideal location for exploring the 300km of the Costa del Sol. Nearby are the beautiful towns of Marbella and Fuengirola and you are just a short drive from Benalmadena, Torremolinos and Puerto Banus. Also worth a visit is Gibraltar, about an hours drive. There are so many places of interest to visit but a car is not essential as there is a very reliable bus service along the coast and plenty of taxi's. The nearest shops, bars and restaurants to our apartment are just a 5 minute walk away with more to be found in the nearby "El Zoco" and "El Campanario" shopping centres. The local beach is about a 10/15 minute walk however we suggest visiting the stunning beaches at nearby Cabopino (1km) or La Cala (4km). The apartment is very spacious and has 2 bedromms consisting of a kingsize bed in the master bedroom and two singles in the 2nd bedroom. Bed linen is provided. Both bedrooms lead onto the rear terrace which overlooks the pool and gardens. This terrace is a perfect place to have breakfast as it receives the morning sun. A fold down bed is also provided which is ideal for children. In the living area you will find a 3 seater and 2 seater seetee which are positioned around an open fireplace. For dining you will find an extendable table with 4 chairs. Leading off the living area is a large front terrace which has views of the surrounding neighbourhood and down to the coast. There is a patio dining table and 4 chairs with a toldo providing shade. This terrace is ideal for alfresco dining. A spiral staircase leads you up to the private solarium which boasts panoramic views and guarantees all day sun. Two sun loungers are provided. The kitchin is fully equipped and the bathroom has a bath with a shower attached. The tropical pool is set in beautifully manicurred gardens and has a shallow end for children. There is plenty of space surrounding the pool for sun-bathing. The Costa del Sol has on average 330 days a year of sunshine and is perfect for both a winter and a summer destination. The Sierra Nevada is approximately 2 hours drive away. For at least 4 months a year it is possible to ski in the morning and sunbathe in the afternoon! The Costa del Sol is often referred to as the Costa del Golf and you find approximately 40 golf courses in the area. The nearest to this apartment is only a 5/10 minute walk. In the summer months (July and August) the preferred start day is Saturday. Although smoking is not permitted inside the apartment those wishing to smoke can do so on the terraces. The apartment is on the second floor and there are no lifts. Therefore it may be unsuitable for some.
